In addition to her work at Adair County Animal Hospital, Dr. Frazier is also a partner in All Cats and Dogs Veterinary Hospital, Bowling Green Veterinary Emergency Clinic, and Cumberland Animal Hospital. Her professional focus includes patient care, leadership development, hospital growth, team culture, and preserving the personal relationships that define privately owned veterinary medicine.
Professionally, Dr. Frazier has a strong interest in preventative care, geriatric wellness, dentistry, pain management, and surgery, with a particular passion for improving quality of life for aging pets. She believes strongly in educating pet owners and creating individualized care plans that support lifelong health and wellness.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Frazier enjoys travel, reading, gardening, fitness, and spending time with her family, horses, and grandchildren. She and her husband, O’Shaughnessy Frazier, are also involved in several entrepreneurial and community-focused ventures centered around wellness and small business development.
Dr. Frazier believes the heart of veterinary medicine lies in combining excellent medical care with compassion, honesty, education, and meaningful relationships between veterinary teams, clients, and the pets they love.
Shantila rexroat Frazier, D.V.M.
Dr. Shantila Rexroat Frazier is a veterinarian, business owner, and partner in several privately owned veterinary hospitals throughout Kentucky. With more than 35 years in the veterinary profession and nearly three decades as a practicing veterinarian, she is passionate about advancing compassionate, progressive veterinary medicine while supporting the future of independent veterinary practice.
Originally from Columbia, Kentucky, Dr. Frazier graduated from Adair County High School before attending Western Kentucky University and later earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. During veterinary school, she completed an externship in New Zealand, an experience that broadened her perspective on veterinary medicine and patient care.
Since 1999, Dr. Frazier has been an owner and leader at Adair County Animal Hospital & Laser Surgery Center, helping grow the practice into a trusted regional resource for advanced medical, surgical, and preventative veterinary care. Over the years, she has remained committed to combining progressive medicine with compassionate client relationships while continuing to evolve the hospital to meet the changing needs of pets and their families. Today, she is proud to work alongside her partner and team in continuing that mission.
Outside her veterinary commitments, Dr. Frazier and her husband, O'Shaughnessy Frazier, live on a farm near Columbia with their four dogs and two horses. They have a vibrant blended family with five children: Elizabeth, who attends North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2028); Isaac (17) and Jackson (13), who both attend school locally; Toni, who resides in Alabama with her two children; and Blane, who is a senior at the University of Kentucky. Committed to personal and community wellness, Dr. Frazier became certified as a Bungee Fitness instructor in 2024. She and her husband will open Infinity Fitness & Wellness Center in Columbia in 2025, where she looks forward to incorporating her passion for fitness, including teaching Bungee Fitness classes. Additionally, Dr. Frazier serves as a Key Opinion Leader for Zoetis, highlighting her leadership within the veterinary industry. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, photography, cooking, traveling with her family, listening to audiobooks, and focusing on her health and wellness. Visitors to Adair County Animal Hospital and All Cats And Dogs Veterinary Hospital can appreciate her artwork and photography, proudly displayed throughout these practices.

Terri Pettyjohn, D.V.M.
Dr. Terri Pettyjohn, DVM is a dedicated veterinarian and co-owner of both Adair County Animal Hospital and Cumberland Animal Hospital in Russell Springs. With 29 years of experience in veterinary medicine—19 of those as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine—she is passionate about providing the highest level of care for her patients.
Dr. Pettyjohn has a strong interest in small animal medicine and is committed to educating pet owners on how to protect their pets and promote long, healthy lives. She finds great fulfillment in utilizing diagnostics to gain a complete understanding of her patients' health, allowing for precise and effective treatment plans.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with double minors in Chemistry and Biology from Western Kentucky University before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University. One of her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine is the challenge of solving medical puzzles—piecing together a pet’s history, examination findings, and diagnostic results to determine the best course of action. Seeing a pet recover and thrive after treatment is the most rewarding part of her work.
When not at the hospital, Dr. Pettyjohn, her husband and two children enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and boating on Lake Cumberland. She is also an avid gardener and landscaper in her free time at her home in Russell Springs.
Dr. Pettyjohn’s commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine, client education, and compassionate care make her a valued leader at both Adair County and Cumberland Animal Hospitals.

Cece roberts, d.v.m.
Dr. CeCe Roberts, DVM has been an associate veterinarian at Cumberland Animal Hospital since August 2025.
She was born and raised in Somerset, KY where she developed a deep love for animals and began paving her way to become a veterinarian. CeCe was a collegiate athlete, playing volleyball while she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union College in 2019. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2023.
After graduation, Dr. Roberts began her career at Banfield Pet Hospital in Nashville, TN, where she spent two years honing her skills in general practice. Her professional interests include dentistry, hospice care, client communication and preventative medicine—areas where she is especially passionate about building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. She thoroughly enjoys interacting with people and animals alike and is extremely excited to form lasting relationships with the clients/patients.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Roberts enjoys spending time with her husband, Zach and her son, Levi. She also enjoys traveling, playing pickle ball, and attending concerts.
Dr. Roberts is thrilled to be back in her home state and is enjoying serving the families and pets of the Lake Cumberland.

Mindy C.
Practice Manager
With 23 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Mindy has been a dedicated member of Adair County Animal Hospital since February 2002, while also contributing her expertise at Cumberland Animal Hospital. Holding a BS degree, she plays a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly through inventory management, bookkeeping, staff support, and client interaction. Mindy thrives on the unpredictability of each day and values working with a well-trained, efficient, and happy team. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her seven furry children, as well as relaxing with family and friends—roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over an open fire after dark.

Nicole R.
Lead Assistant
Nicole has been a part of Adair County Animal Hospital since October 2021 and has worked in veterinary medicine since 2015. As the lead assistant, she is passionate about emergency medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and exotic animal care. Always eager to expand her knowledge, she embraces new information and skills whenever possible. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include performing dentals—especially dental radiographs—phlebotomy, and assisting with amputation surgeries. She also values the deep connections she builds with both patients and their owners. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and crocheting, a skill she recently taught herself and has been practicing for about six months.

Evan D.
Veterinary Assistant
With three years of experience in veterinary medicine, Evan has been a part of the Cumberland Animal Hospital team since May 2022. He enjoys caring for the many different pets that come in each day and finds it especially rewarding to see them return healthier than before. Outside of work, he spends his time reading or playing video games.

Braden A.
Veterinary Assistant
With three years of experience in veterinary medicine, Braden has been a part of the Cumberland Animal Hospital team since October 2023. He enjoys client education, assisting with the business side of the practice, and working alongside his fellow team members. Outside of the office, Braden spends his time working on computers and playing with his two dogs.

Jennefer L.
Veterinary Assistant
Jennefer has been a veterinary assistant at Adair County Animal Hospital since November 2022, bringing over three years of experience in veterinary medicine. She has a strong interest in emergency medicine, surgery, client education, laboratory testing, and radiology, always striving to expand her skills. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine? Cutting super long toenails! She enjoys making pets more comfortable while providing excellent care. Outside of work, Jennefer spends her free time baking, crocheting, and reading.

Ida R.
Veterinary Assistant
Ida joined Adair County Animal Hospital in 2024 and has two years of experience in veterinary medicine. She has a passion for laboratory testing, radiology, surgery, and emergency cases, always eager to assist in critical situations. She also has a special interest in geriatric patients and diagnostics, ensuring older pets receive the best possible care. Outside of work, Ida enjoys riding horses, hiking with her dogs, and completing puzzles

Amanda D.
Veterinary Assistant
Amanda joined Cumberland Animal Hospital and Adair County Animal Hospital in January 2026. She brings over 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine and has a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. Her veterinary interests include brachycephalic breeds, abscesses, surgical procedures, and running diagnostic tests. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her children and learning about homesteading. One day, Amanda wants to own an off-grid farm where she can provide for her family and own an abundance of livestock.
